Main Ingredients
- 1 large cucumber, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1/2 cup honey or granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- 1 cup ice cubes
Garnishes (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves
- Thin cucumber slices
- Lemon rounds
Instructions
- Blend Ingredients: Add the peeled and chopped cucumber along with the freshly squeezed lemon juice into a blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Strain Mixture: Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher. Use a spoon to press and extract all the juice, removing any pulp or solids.
- Add Sweetener: Stir in the honey or granulated sugar until it dissolves completely, adjusting the sweetness according to your preference.
- Mix with Water: Pour in the cold water and mix thoroughly to combine all flavors evenly.
- Chill and Serve: Add ice cubes to the pitcher, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld and cool the lemonade. Serve chilled, garnished with fresh mint leaves, thin cucumber slices, or lemon rounds if desired.
Notes
- For an extra burst of flavor, add a small handful of fresh mint leaves to the blender along with the cucumber before blending.
- Substitute still water with sparkling water to create a fizzy version of this lemonade.
